hotel staff very helpfull good breakfast good value for money and i would recomend , but sadly i hear its sold and is closing down so i will be unable to rebook this hotel again
a steep walk up to the 3rd floor but there is a lift
5 Star, good service, clean, friendly, great food.
Friendly staff and well prepared room. Food good.
Was not warned that a birthday party was taking place the evening I stayed - very noisy!
I would prefer to be able to open the windows. Air conditioning was not really neccessary, just noisy
Lovely people, tasteful refurbishment, nice food, good value
Great for functions, great atmosphere, lovely surroundings, great staff, extremely helpful. Comfortable rooms, quite spacious, beds were also comfy. Also great value for money, would highly recommend this hotel. Shame we did nor get to use the spa facilities. Definatly tranquil surroundings, hopefully come back again. We used the accommodation because we had a family party taking place at the Riverside, great service all evening.
Location, easy access, parking, general ambience, comfortable. Pleasant dining with good and varied menu at realistic prices. Drinks at sensible prices also. Rooms large and comfortable beds. Bathrooms large, clean, modern. Tv modern and all digital channels available.
Although the rooms were large with high ceilings there was an air- conditioning unit attached which is either liked or not. The windows - which were box sash sliding and large were locked so that they could not be opened - which is upsetting for some (me). The reason given by the hotel was that this was a health and safety requirement. [If we had seen this in the hotel description on the website we would probably not have stayed as I cannot sleep in a room without opening windows and dislike fans intensely]
The location is good with lawns spreading down to theriverLark. The staff were very visible friendly and helpful. Ourbedroom was spacious clean and comfortable. The breakfasts and service were fine.
Excellent Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant. I can thoroughly recommend the Riverside House.
Our stay at the riverside was lovely.. We ate in the restaurant and the food was superb.. Room very big and comfortable.. Lovely views.
It was a very clean hotel very confortable and the staff were very friendly added to which the food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced when compared to others of a lesser quality in the same area. The best in Mildenhall for sure. No complaints at all.
Everything! the staff were friendly the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The setting is delightful - highly recommended.
this hotel is closing as it has been taken over but the staff did not reflect this and were very helpfull.
the room was extremly hot due to alot of hot water pipes under the floor we had the window open but this did not help. the deco was very drab.hopfully when it reopens we may try it again depending on the price. At presnt if it was not under change i do not think i could recommened it.
shower not working unless you liked being boiled. No nuts or crisps behind bar , bar very ordinary o.k for one drink before going elsewhere
The food was very good, if with little slow, and the staff were very friendly. The location by the river was pleasant.
Doors, windows etc are starting to fall to bits. The sash window had to be propped open and the door handle came off in my hand!
